The Compagnietheater (a.k.a. CT) is an Amsterdam venue for theatre, dance, film, music, expos, talks and, more often than not, partying. CT’s roots are everywhere, it emphatically identifies as queer, and loves urban culture. At CT you will find the art of tomorrow: new perspectives and untold stories, often from young, unknown makers. Besides all that, it is an inclusive space, so everyone is welcome to contribute ideas and co-create!

In addition to its regular programming, the organisation uses labels such as CT Cinematic, CT Curated, and CT Playground, where makers and artists, and especially the public, are asked to put together their own programmes with CT. The programming criss-crosses every which way, yet everything is connected by a common thread: urban and social themes in the arts.
