The Amsterdam Museum presents New Narratives x Queer History Talk, in collaboration with curator and moderator Mini Maxwell. As a multidisciplinary artist and activist, Mini Maxwell’s focuses on addressing social questions related to (predominantly) queer communities.

The main theme of this episode of New Narratives x Queer History Talk is Queer Migration, in particular the meaning of home, the body, strength and the need for healing. We discuss these topics in the context of the Amsterdam Museum’s current temporary exhibition Refresh Amsterdam – Sense of Place, with a focus on the work of Tyna Adebowale and Tamara Shogaolu and with special guest Mala Badi.
