Antonis Pittas
Artist Antonis Pittas is the new Honorary Fellow of the Humanities Department of Amsterdam University. However, in his recent work he refuses to play by the strict academic rules: his art is provocative and intertwines the past and the present. ‘I have given myself permission to be unconventional’, says Pittas in an interview with Folia, Amsterdam University’s magazine.
